"The Tango Life"

To be more specific, I'm learning Argentina Tango right now.

What is it?
-Originated from Tango
-It's different from British (Ballroom) Tango in that it's more raw, sexy, and stylish.
-music is also more disorganized, stimulating, and

-----------

actually, i have some more interesting subject to discuss.

i just did my laundries and here i am, ready to go out for dinner.
my socks are dryer-fresh, still warm. and the instant i put them warm socks on, i feel like a king. . .

for 5 seconds...then it got cold again...

but warm socks - that's key.

It's not a silly little moment
It's not the storm before the calm
This is the deep and dyin breath of
this love we've been workin on
Can't seem to hold you like I want to
so I can feel you in my arms
Nobody's gonna come and save you
we pulled too many false alarms

We're goin down
and you can see it too
We're goin down
and you know that we're doomed
my dear
we're slow dancing in a burnin room

I was the one you always dreamed of
you were the one i tried to draw
how dare you say it's nothin to me
baby, you're the only light I ever saw

I make the most of all the sadness
you'll be a bitch because you can
you try to hit me just to hurt me
so you leave me feelin dirty cuz you can't understand

We're goin down
and you can see it too
We're goin down
and you know that we're doomed
my dear
we're slow dancing in a burnin room

Go cry about it why don't you
Go cry about it why don't you
Go cry about it why don't you
my dear, we're slow dancin in a burnin room
burnin room, burnin room
don't you think we oughta know by now
don't you think we shoulda learned somehow
don't you think we oughta know by now
don't you think we shoulda learned somehow
don't you think we oughta know by now
don't you think we shoulda learned somehow
don't you think we shoulda learned somehow
don't you think we shoulda learned somehow
don't you think we shoulda learned somehow
don't you think we shoulda learned somehow

Another Pause and Reflect in Le Journey (as in LIFE)

Two things i want to talk about
a) taste
b) career
c) woman

a) i believe i have a very good taste in everything - fashion, music, food - relative to my generation. i get excited learning about STYLE and SENSE. last week, i spent a good 20minutes inside ferragamo staring and feeling the shoes. inside my closet there are a lot of items that maybe i'm too early to wear - hugo boss jacket, brooks brothers dress shirts...i treat banana republic as a standard and everything less is on the this-is-not-quality-clothing...as for food, i won't even go there. i recently had a whiskey tasting event with a family friend. johnny walker blue label was the cheapest bottle out of the six. i came to the conclusion that i need to spend more time thinking - "am i too spoiled? should i change?" sometimes, an early victory is like a 3minute rock concert.

b) i have a new plan, and it is risky but it fits. it fits really well.

c) aim high albert, aim high. there's so much family pressure that i might consider letting my mom pick...she does pick nice clothes for me sometimes...

This is the corresponding lyrics to the song i posted couple days ago.

I'm confused by who originally sang this, Shirley Bassey or Andy Williams??

anywhos....

Where do I begin

Where do I begin
To tell the story of how great a love can be
The sweet love story that is older than the sea
The simple truth about the love she brings to me
Where do I start

With her first hello
She gave new meaning to this empty world of mine
Therell never be another love, another time
She came into my life and made the living fine
She fills my heart

She fills my heart with very special things
With angels songs , with wild imaginings
She fills my soul with so much love
That everywhere I go Im never lonely
With you my love, who could be lonely
I reach for her hand-its always there

How long does it last
Can love be measured by the hours in a day
I have no answers now but this much I can say
I know Ill need her till the stars all burn away
And shell be there

So during my routine Tim Horton's walk, i wondered how old Wolverine is.

So I googld it...

Answer 3 out of 4
by xyphius1 on Apr 21, 2008 at 8:31 pm
"
Presumably we know that he is born after 1885 as "John Jr's" tombstone reads 1885 for the birth-date.
John was 12 years old when he died. We do know that James (Wolverine) was around to see his brother as he is a fairly young boy still when the comic begins (it actually begins in 1897). We can assume that because of his stature he is between 8 and 10 years old.
So wolverine was probably born between 1887 to 1889. Not that it matters but in a few comics his birth Month has been referred to as late May.
So, his age is somewhere between: 120 and 118.
I personally subscribe to the belief that Wolverine was Born on May 24th 1888 making him (as of April 21st 2008) 119 (turning 120 next month) "

A Year Wiser, Wittier, and Funnier

Couple things that I must do for me birthday.
1. Celebrate with Family and Best Friends: checked
2. Eat good food: CHECKED
3. Smile from the bottom of my heart: checked

Why am I so gosh darn lucky? =)
To have a life that challenges me, to have friends that I truly care about and them back at me, to have a family that still thinks I am the best son/brother in the whole world (unconditional, but whatev...) Thank you, God.

And one bonus on birthday is the facebook wall posts :] it's so little but so much.

I am proud of who I am, what I can do, and what I will do.

This makes so much sense.

Despite the mix review i still love the bond movie...sure, plots/convo were weaker but what they (production crew) really pushed for was the action and the art (i dunno what the lingo for this is...picture?)

action:
1. having the same fighting director as the bournes is definitely one of the best selling pt. daniel craig throws a punch like how a punch should be thrown.
2. driving an aston martin as if he is riding on a beast.

art
1. opening music (as shown above) by alicia keys and jack white. unexpected combo...but did it work? hell yeah.
2. i can't count the number of scenes where my mind thought, dang, this scene is so well shot. i'll prob look more into some production art books =) maybe i'll head over to chapters now...

anywhos, daniel craig is just too dang awesome.

And then the Witty shaved his mustache. T_T

I tried to give it shape by trimming...so I shave one little edge and repeat it on the other side but the uneveness caused me to be engulfed in a bad infinite loop.

So, I'm growing some facial hair and leaving my hair long enough so I can tie it upwards.
The critiques I've been getting are in two extremes...i.e. "Albert, What the F is on your face?", "Dude, that's pretty slick!"...and there are those people that just recognize me as a different per son -_-

Anywhos, gonna keep growing this until I can tie my hair up. If it doesn't work out, I guess I can always shave either or....or both....

Life's been restless since work started. Enjoying work, enjoying life, can't complain =]

-salsa + ballroom
-badminon 3 days a week

So there's a pimple that's been developing near my cheekbone for quite some time now...it must had a 3mm diameter.

I popped it by squeezing it with my left thumb and index finger. It went POP and the Sebum (oily substance) that was exploded onto my fingers were as big as 1.2mm in diameter.

i feel accomplished today.

A day in life~

woke up 7:30am as usual...water my lawn

I've spent weeks on this lawn - pulling the weeds + layering top soil + seeding + triple mix layering @_@ anywhos, the grass are growing and i feel very accomplished...
lesson learned: some grass grow slower than others...it may mean that the roots are deeper =)

biked to work from 8:30 to 9:30am.

So my morning went by really quick...actually my work in general just goes by really quick for some reason...i spent most of the past ten days coming up with designs for Stargazer <-- one of Harbinger's product. My goal coming into engineering was to design, design and design. and guess what I'm doing now?

12:00pm-1pm lunch time

Forgot to mention I finally received my paycheck. I enjoy the numbers on the paycheck =) but more importantly, I finally have some money in the pocket. Until 9:00am, my total cash balance was a mere $5.43 (I accounted before I left home).
I deposit my cheque and treated myself to Curry Chicken Rice at J-Town, which by the way is the best place for Curry Chicken Rice (jap style).

Afternoon I was inspired and finally came up and proposed my first design to my boss.
This will mark my first product in life.

4:15pm leave office

ride my bike from woodbine/john to leslie/sheppard to buy a bike lock from canadian tire. Then parked at leslie subway station to TTC down to UT.

6pm meet up my boss in front of Benting Institute. (I grabbed a Italian spicy sausage on the way)
He showed me around SGC Lab - Structural Genomics Consortium. The company I work for, Harbinger tech, is a spin off from SGC while both parties still maintain tight relationship.

7pm take TTC back to Leslie station.

This is my first time using the bike rack mounting in front of the TTC bus...then bike from midland/sheppard back to home.

total: 2 hrs of biking.
